Public health concerns are plaguing our world’s communities. From COVID-19 to type 2 diabetes, health-related issues are becoming more prevalent in countries worldwide -- in fact, nearly 2 million people around the world have type 2 diabetes. Of those, almost 8 million individuals are not aware that they have T2D. We discuss this deadly disease with Dr Sarah Cuschieri and healthy choices we can make in our lives.
